This photograph shows a leopard perched on a tree behind dense vegetation. Kanha National Park is a green paradise rich in incredible wildlife, but the density of the vegetation doesn't make sightings easy. Initially lying down, this leopard then sprang into action by moving back and forth on its trunk, glancing at us from time to time. In reality, he was looking for a good spot to return to dry land to start his hunt. He stayed like that for a few moments before leaving us in a majestic final leap.
