Lioness bringing down a juvenile zebra near Mara river. This late morning, a small herd of zebras were quenching their thirst by the river bank. We noticed a lioness hiding in the brush, eyeing these zebras. She patiently waited until all but one wandered away and made her move...while blocking only escape route through the cliffs along the river bank.
