While visiting my family in Pagosa Springs, I made it a point to get my aunt and uncle to go outside to look for the quickly departing comet in its final days of visibility from earth. I hadn't had the opportunity to see the comet due to my busy work schedule, so being able to find it was a priority for me that night. To our surprise, it was not only visible but also accompanied by the Milky Way.
