Comb Ridge Sunset
Comb Ridge is a 80 mile long geologic monocline that stretches across Southeast Utah into Northern Arizona. It was a major impediment to early Mormon settlers trying to inhabit the area. A modern highway through a cut in the sandstone, (visible in the center of the picture), makes travel easy today.
