Color of fabrics

This cloth is called Lal Salu in the local language. It is made in winter in Narsingdi district of Bangladesh. Many large carpet-like cloths are dipped in dye and dried in large fields. The clothes are very long. Red color is used in most of the clothes. After drying for 15-20 minutes, the clothes are removed. Wet cloths dipped in color are rolled and placed in the field in a type of hand-cranked machine. They are used for the cover of various household clothes.
