Northern Kafue is a great destination to see both roan and sable antelope, which are two of Africa’s most impressive species. Where there are many of these antelopes you will find Ox-peckers. These birds have a symbiotic relationship with roan and sable by eating the parasites that they pick up while grazing, which seems a never ending food supply. Judging by the number of birds there is a feast on this one sable antelope.
