Cheetah chase one foot

Late one afternoon on our way back to our campsite, we came across a cheetah lying underneath a tree on the other side of a dry river bed. We stopped and waited for almost 1 hour on the other side of the dry river bed. In the meantime, a herd of blue wildebeests with calves move along the river bed towards the cheetah. The cheetah waited until the herd was within her striking distance and chased across the river. It was very dry and the herd kicked up a lot of dust. Here the cheetah is halfway across the river bed. Eventually the cheetah caught one of the calves.
