Central Park Bubble Blower
I had spent the day photographing large groups of people in Central Park, New York. By the late afternoon I figured I had exhausted most of the possibilities when I noticed this man blowing incredibly large bubbles. I was attracted, in part, by the effect of seeing people sitting on the benches through the elongated bubbles. I also liked the contrast of the dynamic nature of the bubbles with their bright specular highlights, as opposed to the restful feeling of the folks sitting on the benches.
