Bud Looking Over Monarch and Zinnia

A bud raises itself high~Looking o'er the Monarch butterfly~Singing praises for life it brings~Waiting with angel like leaf wings~To break loose more flowers on earth~Giving hope to celebrate new birth! This was the first Monarch butterfly that I was happy to see and photograph this year pollinating the Zinnia's in our Wisconsin backyard. It paid a brief visit close to 5:00 PM 9/20/2023 and hopefully it returns. The Monarchs sadly are becoming scarce to the point of extinction.I symbolically equated the bud looking over the butterfly, (sometimes overlooked) as a platonic angel rejoicing for the Monarch that appeared among the flowers who would soon open its own blooms to spread joy upon earth. You can even see the word plant in the word platonic while the butterfly provided the tonic and good nourishment to the flowers. It inspired me to write poetry above for what I saw in the picture.
