A brown bear in southwest Alaska fishing for spawning salmon in an effort to fatten up for hibernation. An iconic image sought after by photographers each year, I was fortunate to have all of the elements line up for this shot during my short time in this location. Brooks Falls in Katmai National Park boasts the highest concentration of brown bears on the planet during the summer salmon run.
