We weren't exactly blessed with colorful sunrises and sunsets, but I couldn't pass up on this opportunity as I waited for my buddies (do you notice them?) to return from hunting for methane bubbles on this lake. There were bubbles, but you had to dig several inches deep in the snow to see them. The messy but almost bare trees might not be to everyone's liking, but the autumn leaves miraculously still holding on provided some interest.
