This photograph was taken as part of a series called "Seeing the Unseen". In a field of brilliant sunflowers, this one stood out to me because it was so very different from the others - not smiling happily up towards the sky, but bent over, unable to lift its head ... it appeared to be broken hearted and the emotion of it draped over felt so heavy to me. It could barely lift its head and I thought it was stunningly beautiful.
