The Kalochori lagoon is a shallow, brackish body of water that hosts a variety of birds, fish and other animals. It is also an important stop for the migratory birds traveling between Europe and Africa. The waters of the lagoon surrounded by salt marshes, which provide habitat for a variety of plants and animals. In my aerial photographs, I captured its beauty and diversity lagoon. I have photographed the lagoon from different elevations, permitting viewers to see its vastness and intricate details. I also have photograph the lagoon at different times of the day and in different seasons, capturing her changing moods and colors. I hope my photos will help viewers appreciate the beauty and importance of the lagoon Kalochori. I also hope that it will inspire and learn more about it unique ecosystem and take action to protect it.
