The photo was taken on branding day at Copperhead Creek Ranch, a family-owned cattle ranch in southern Monterey County on California’s Central Coast. On our ranc we run cattle the old way, rounding them up on horseback and driving them to a central corral area where the young calves are branded and inoculated.
