Brave Little One
I had spent most of a beautiful late spring day hiking and taking photos of local wildlife. I had packed up my gear and was heading home on foot, when along the way I noticed four young eastern cottontail rabbits had come out to graze. Before I had the chance to whip out my camera again, they had all sprinted back to their burrow. They were situated near an apartment complex, alongside a busy road, and I remember leaving there hoping that they would all remain safe. I found myself at the same location a few days later and noticed that only one had bravely ventured out to nibble on the grass. This time I was more prepared with my camera and was able to capture this photo.
