Our neighbor had been temporarily taking care of 11 Holsteins and 1 Brown Swiss since Spring who grazed in his pasture land. The owner came to pick them up and hauled them back to his place the day after I shot this picture. I was thankful that I had this one last opportunity to capture some autumn scenes of a Holstein who stood alone from the rest of the herd where the maple leaves made a pretty frame around her on the afternoon of 10/25/2024.
