Being a Bhutanese Thangka Artist is a noble profession. They preserve teachings and mantra depicted as religious symbols such as lotus flowers, banners, knots, fish, and the dharma wheel. The artists know how to write in Sanskrit and masterfully visualizes Buddha's life lessons. Om Mani Padme Hum - reminding people to practice a path that combines method and wisdom transforming their mind into the pure body, speech, and mind of a Buddha.
