This project tells the story of Black women maintaining composure and elegance through difficult times. It captures the idea of resilience and strength, even as the world around them changes dramatically and becomes dystopian. Inspired by the nostalgia of the 1990s, when human connection seemed simpler and easier, this narrative uses elements of '90s hairstyles and Jackie Kennedy-inspired fashion to highlight the tension between the past's simplicity and the complexities of the present.
