Barn with Barn Quilt at Sunset
Off a two lane highway, between fields in Central IL, is a proud red barn, boasting its own barn quilt. Barn quilts are a common sight in some rural communities; they will form a trail of sorts. The patterns, if you were to collect them from all the barns in town and put them together, would be a coordinated and beautiful quilt. They also mark historical barns in more well-traveled towns.
