Yuma, Arizona, has many date farms well-suited to the arid desert landscape, including Martha's Gardens Date Farm. The date trees take ten years to produce its first fruit and every step of the process is done by hand, including bagging the dates to protect the dates from birds and also help with the harvesting of the delicious Medjool dates.
