We were on the lake looking for grizzlies to photograph. We watched as mom and two cubs came out of the woods. I thought I could get a good shot of the mom and cubs on s point against fall colors in the distance, but the cubs were distracted and chased each other over a hill. Mom began fishing and as we waited, we watched her swim across the lake. The little cubs clearly didn't want to swim. The came running out of the woods and moaned and groaned on the shoreline as the watched mom swim to the other side. They whined and complained to no avail. It was so cute! Finally they succumbed to the inevitability that they were going to have swim across.
