Baby bunny found in my yard on Easter 2021..

The Easter Bunny I was working in my yard on Easter of 2021, when my dog was sniffing a helpless little infant bunny on the ground. Luckily,my dog was very gentle with it. I called a wildlife rehab organization and was told to find its nest. Unfortunately, I was unable to find it, so I called a woman who rehabs bunnies in Colorado. I scooped up the bunny and put it into a towel-lined shoebox. I took the tiny animal to a veterinarian in Castle Rock where the rehabber picked him up. She texted me later in the day and told me that he's a healthy bunny and he should be okay. I was delighted and relieved. She said that he had nursed in the morning and had a full belly of milk, and that he grunted when she picked him up. Both good signs. I was just sad that he was no longer with his mother. I guess that you could say that I found the Easter Bunny that day.
