This photograph shows an Indian standing tall at a local Powwow. I have photographed a number of Powwows, celebrating the American Indian Culture, this one was the Redhawk Powwow. Similar to other cultural events, Powwows are very much a visual treat. There are many participants and just as many onlookers sharing in the experience. Indians from several different tribes spend the day dancing in celebration and giving thanks.
