Arctic Tern
The Arctic Tern conducts aerial foraging manoeuvres before the glacier façade, endeavouring to secure sustenance. This behaviour is observed following glacial calving events, wherein expansive ice formations dislodge into the ocean, agitating the sea plankton. It is disconcerting to note that the habitat vital to the perpetuation of the Arctic Tern is progressively diminishing owing to pervasive global warming. The glaciers in the High Arctic region are receding, consequently diminishing the glacier fronts.
