15th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Altered Images
Air-raid tunnel with stainless steel restroom, Zagreb, Croatia
Under the Upper town of Zagreb, Croatia, there's an air-raid tunnel connecting two ends of old-town part called Grič. It's 350 meters long and has three shafts connecting the tunnel with the city's center main street Ilica. It was built during WW2. Today it's a promenade and a tourist attraction.
