A woman visits the geological flysch formations of Zumaia beach

A woman visits the Zumaia beach flash. The Zumaia Flysch is one of the natural wonders of Euskadi. A space in which the cliffs, the tidal level and the beaches create an idyllic landscape. Magical. The sedimentary rock layers of the Zumaia Flysch store data from more than 50 million years ago. A geological phenomenon, which experts do not hesitate to compare with a book that tells the history of the earth. The flysch acquires its greatest relevance on the Itzurun beach in Zumaia. The verticalized layers of this spectacular geological phenomenon helped us understand the extinction of the dinosaurs.
