A typical colonian street in Trinidad, Cuba
Trinidad is one of a kind, a perfectly preserved Spanish colonial settlement where the clocks stopped in 1850. Declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1988, it is Cuba's oldest and most enchanting 'outdoor museum'. Trinidad was one of the first Cuban towns founded by the Spanish, and it quickly grew wealthy from the production of sugar cane, cattle, and tobacco.
