20th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Natural World
A swan grooms herself, the sun setting sparkles on the water.
One day I took a walk late in the day and noticed all the sparkles playing over the water's surface and luckily for me, there were some swans in the water, one of which was doing some intensive grooming. When she flipped her head upside down, I took this photograph.
