I took this photo on a smoky day in Bend Oregon at what is usually a beautiful look out spot. The smoke was from Forrest fires caused by lightening strikes. I see this photo as "tragic beauty.” The smoke creates a surreal aesthetic, but it’s a reminder of the underlying tragedy of what nature can cause.
