A Red-eyed Tree Frog exposes its eye's nictitating membrane

Red-eyed Tree Frogs are often recognized by their big red eyes. What’s less frequently seen is their golden-veined nictitating eyelid which helps with camouflage and enables them to spot predators while they sleep.
