My wife and I first visited Japan together on our honeymoon in 2004. We returned to Japan 20 years later to find the country both the same and different. One difference in 2024 is the crush of American tourists like us due to the strength of the dollar and social media influencing tourism demand. I'm told by Japanese friends that a shot like this is very rare now with no one in the picture.
