I went into the Three Sisters Volcanoes in Oregon to attempt to photograph a mountain lion. I ended up climbing too high, above the tree line and stumbled upon a group of pika. While I didn't find any mountain lions I ended up observing so much wildlife that I didn't expect, the Pika being one of them. Their squeaks in photographs looked so much more epic than they sounded.
