A Magnificently Marked Turtle With a Damaged Carapace Alive and Well

Le Village des Tortues near the Pink Lake cares for turtles that have been injured. As I visited the Village I noticed the splendid patterns on the carapace of the individual turtles and additional designs from head to toe on their legs, necks and heads. This friendly turtle posed nicely. It even spread its toes apart and displayed its injured carapace.
