A home in what is called an "Informal Settlement" on Kassa Island, off the shore of Conakry, the capital of Guinea.
This young lady lives on Kassa Island in the dwelling in which she is standing. There are hundreds, if not thousands of such tin, cloth and cardboard houses in the "informal settlement" in which she lives, and many more of such "settlements." She agreed to allow me to take the photo as she cooked a meal for her family in their open kitchen after her mother generously gave me permission to do so.
