This photo is of a man I came across in Havana, Cuba. Around him there were people smoking, chatting and ignoring him, but he sat alone and did not stop playing his accordion. When he saw me watching him, it seemed to give him more strength and motivation. In just his smile I felt that I had captured the spirit of Cuba, one emboldened and brightened through music. He wouldn't take my tip. Instead he just nodded at me and kept playing.
